At last, we have got a Dennis Rodman update about the Chicago Bulls‘ Ring of Honor, which is all set to hit the stage today in a few hours. The fans have only received disappointing news in the last few days. Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen both have informed the Bulls that they will not be attending the inaugural due to unknown reasons. However, Jordan showed his gratitude for the honor through a small video, which the Bulls shared yesterday. Rodman decided to thank the city himself.

The 5x NBA champion shared a few pictures of him in an iconic Bulls jacket and added in the captions, “Appreciate You Chicago #ringofhonor…I love you guys…Always…Forever…THANK YOU!!!”. Fans are happy that Rodman has at least acknowledged the honor. We are yet to hear from Pippen.

Though Rodman has given us an update, the 2-time DPOY will not be attending the event in Chicago. The Ring of Honor is set to take place during the halftime between the Golden State Warriors and the Bulls today. Unfortunately, we will not get to witness our most favorite stars.
Unexpected Chicago weather keeps Dennis Rodman away from United Center
Rodman was the only genuine star who badly wanted to attend the ‘Ring of Honor’. Although he did make the plans to join his Bulls family back at the United Center, last minute weather conditions did not allow him to rejoice. The National Weather Service have issued a ‘Winter storm warning‘ at Chicago until tomorrow noon, due to heavy snowfall. This unexpected move from the nature almost made Rodman tear up.

The 5-time champion shared, “I tried to come in, I wanted to really bad, but I guess the weather has prevented me from coming to Chicago. I can’t even talk, I’m getting emotional again,”. Both Jordan and Pippen had no plans to attend the event.

Rodman was the only one excited for it, but Chicago weather did not favor him. However, fans can at least witness other stars such as Phil Jackson, Randy Brown, Luc Longley, Tony Kukoc etc. Who are you the most excited to witness at the United Center again? Share your take in the comments below.
