Dennis Rodman has tried his fair share of alternative careers outside basketball. The closest he’s come to music is dating Madonna, appearing at music awards nights, and being the muse of A$AP Ferg’s song. But singing? That’s a rare talent to be showcased by the Worm. Not anymore, though. His girlfriend, Yella Yella, has laid his vocal skills bare. She’s a rapper and musician herself and she seems to give the 5x NBA champion’s musical talents a glowing review.

She shared a candid video on her Instagram Stories (that Rodman later reposted on his Stories) of Rodman singing along to a song. It’s a little scratchy and hoarse for our tastes but the retired NBA pro, occasional wrestler, and short-lived actor could hold that high note in the end. Yella Yella wrote, “#vocals,” and a laughing emoji which could be interpreted as praise or poking fun.

Maybe Rodman could release the full cover on his YouTube channel with his 31-year-old girlfriend for a better analysis. Or he could try some original work with Yella Yella who’s released tracks like “Eyes Roll Back” (2019) and “Ride the Wave” (2020).

But it was truly confirmed when Rodman permanently inked her likeness on his face. The age gap (Rodman is 62) and the tattoo raised a few eyebrows. Regardless, instances like this show they’re just a regular couple with cute moments.

While she’s not got a tattoo of him, she also threw him a cool birthday party in 2023. But they have some tiny displays of affection too. Not long ago, Yella Yella shared one of their sappy sweet moments on her Instagram. She wrote, “GOATED,” as the two appeared for a game in Chicago.

The next thing on their list has to be a joint musical performance. We’re waiting for that duet until then.
