Carmelo Anthony’s story about his first pair of Jordan

Aside from being a businessman, Anthony is also an avid collector. From wines to sneakers, he seems to have a great collection. Moreover, basketball fans’ obsession with Air Jordans will never run out of power. While taking a stroll through the long line of his collection, the player shared how he got his first pair of Jordans. He fondly recalled, “My first pair of Jordans I didn’t get until my senior year in high school at Oak Hill. And that was only because they was a Jordan-sponsored school team” He added, “Going from that to being the first signature athlete at a Jordan Brand; after never being able to have a pair, it’s a full circle.”

From being drafted rookie to becoming a household name in the league, the journey for Anthony was filled with dedication and talent. His leap to Jordan Brand’s first signature athlete is equally inspiring. What’s more intriguing is that His Airness himself picked the former Los Angeles Lakers player for his brand.
