Derrick Rose might have retired from the NBA, but that doesn’t mean he has stopped hooping. And the brand that he signed in 2011 is making sure that the post-retirement plans live up to his legacy. After the recent announcement of establishing the first Rose school, Adidas will once again partner up with Pooh. But it’s not just the German giant he is working alongside, it’s also another brand he has worked with previously.

Lorenzo’s brand has managed to have a current revenue of between $200 million and $300 million, as per Vogue. And the athletics range on their website already has multiple products listed in collaboration with Adidas with the launch set for tomorrow as per the post. From shoes, jackets, and t-shirts to track pants, they have it all.

It seems the launch date will feature new products pretty soon. Derrick Rose signed a $190 million contract with Adidas and would suffer an ACL injury just 64 days after signing the contract. But both Pooh and the brand have continued with utter confidence.

Lost a few people that I thought I had hella time with…” The carousel post from D-Rose had three slides, the last slide also featured him hooping with his kids.

Derrick Rose went back to strengthen his roots

Speaking about kids, Chicago’s own once again partnered with Adidas. They even posted a social media message to confirm the following: “Bigger than basketball 🌹 Derrick Rose’s journey began in high school at Simeon Career Academy, where he built the foundation for his career. His Simeon experience laid the groundwork for the legacy he continues to build.”

The 3x All-Star, also stated, “High school is where it all started for me, which is why I’m excited to announce the first Rose school with Simeon Career Academy. That foundation made me into the player and person I am today.”

He continued, “But this isn’t just about basketball—it’s about providing opportunity, inspiring the next generation, and showing young athletes that they can achieve anything.”

So, Adidas is doing multiple things in collaboration with Derrick Rose. Working alongside Fear of God, for their athletics range, and supporting Simeon Wolverines, where D-Rose led them to two straight state championships.
