Shaquille O’Neal does not give his approval easily when it comes to the top 5 or top 10 All-time lists. Time and again, you might have seen Big Diesel argue on shows or podcasts when he feels the list is not right. One such list from a Philadelphia 76ers legend hit the news recently and also created quite a controversy online. Several called out the Hall of Famer for not including some of the most influential players of the game. Even Shaq was left out! However, O’Neal doesn’t seem to have a problem with it.?What’s even more surprising is that this is not the first time the 7-foot giant is backing up the list.?
At times, Shaq really doesn’t bother if he doesn’t make it to someone’s top 10 all-time. However, when it’s his best buddy Kobe Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers legend is not holding back.

Shaquille O’Neal once again backs the 76ers legend
A lot of fans might have seen some famous interviews of Shaquille O’Neal never giving up on the late legend. However, in this list from Dr. J, both Shaq and Kobe Bryant were left out.?Julius Erving recently revealed his top 10 players of all-time which had stars mostly from the 70s and 80s. Anyhow, he did not fail to add Michael Jordan. To justify his list, Erving further revealed he took only retired players into consideration.?

This is when fans started to bring in superstars like Larry Bird, Shaq, Bryant, and so forth who were left out. Though many do not agree with the 73-year-old legend’s list, Shaq broke the silence with his approval.?
He has now reiterated his stance on Instagram. The 51-year-old shared a video of Dr. J revealing his top 10 players in his story.?

Shaquille O’Neal’s approval of Dr. J’s list?
Dr. J is one of the most decorated players. The Hall of Famer has several NBA superstars’ respect and Shaq seems to be one of them. In an interview, the 2000 MVP shared, “Hey, man, I got no problem with Dr. J?s list. He?s the great Dr. J. He paved the way for all of us.”
Moreover, Shaq recently gave a warning, “He can say what he wants and nobody should say a damn thing about it.”?Well, this support seems surprising keeping in mind O’Neal has not agreed to many other lists easily.?
