Despite Front Row Seats, Julius Erving Disinterested In Lakers vs. Pelicans’ Foregone Conclusion

Everybody look sharp. Dr J is in the house. But the way the Lakers vs Pelicans showdown is going, Julius Erving has practically checked out of the game. Some viewers noticed he had more important things occupying his attention courtside. It sums up the feelings of the ‘Lakeshow’ watchers since the third quarter sealed the conclusion.

The Los Angeles Lakers completely annihilated the New Orleans Pelicans 133-89. The wide score gap was established early into the second half. Fans and viewers alike see no point in waiting for the buzzer. Julius Erving doesn’t feel the need either.

Fans noticed the NBA legend courtside at the game with no interest in the goings-on on the court at all. He’s interested in reading an A4 sheet of paper. As Joey said on FRIENDS, Never seen a guy stare so hard at a piece of paper…”

The In-Season Tournament in Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena is turning into a star-studded affair. Besides Dr J, more legends like Julius Erving, Gary Payton, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Vivica A. Fox, and the Las Vegas Aces team were in the audience.

Maybe Erving wanted to see proof of LeBron James’ new record himself and was in awe. Even Magic Johnson couldn’t resist celebrating King James making 30 points in less than 23 minutes.
