Shaquille O’Neal is an NBA Hall of Famer who loves basketball and speaks passionately about the game. However, his ‘first love’ has always been American football. As a high school student, he played the tight end position because of his fast feet. By his junior year, O’Neal stated that he was an all-world player already. An unfortunate injury made him rethink his plans to become a professional American Football player. Nevertheless, his passion for the sport made him a true fan who supports his favorite team all the way.

However, this may not be an opinion shared by some of his friends, or even his former teammates. In a recent podcast episode, Shaquille O’Neal’s former teammate from the iconic ‘three-peat Lakers’ drops a major confession about the sports team he hates the most.

In the last episode of the “Big Shot Bob Podcast”,7x NBA champion Robert Horry answers his co-host Rob Jenners’ question of which sports team he hates the most.

The former Laker hesitates for a few seconds before saying, “Braves. Braves and it used to be the Cowboys. It used to be the Cowboys because they was like saying they were America’s team. And last time I checked I was American and you are not my team.”

However, he then confesses, “But now that CeeDee is there, I root for the Cowboys. And it feels hard to do that but I do it because I love CeeDee.” CeeDee Lamb is the Dallas Cowboys’ current wide receiver.

The 7x NBA champion did not hold back before expressing his strong dislike for the Atlanta Braves and the NFL team, Dallas Cowboys. However, his former Lakers teammate Shaquille O’Neal is a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Shaq certainly wouldn’t be too happy with Horry’s statement about the Cowboys.

Laker royalty Shaquille O’Neal has shown his deep love for the Dallas Cowboys countless times in public. Like a true and loyal fan, he is up to date with every game that the NFL team is playing and always passionately talks about their performances.

In a ‘Big Wig’ podcast episode once, he talked about his love for the Cowboys and the heartbreaking loss they had against the 49ers (a year ago). He confessed on that podcast, “I’m aching. I’m a real Cowboy fan, I just thought, you know, that this is our year.”
