The Philadelphia 76ers finally got off the mark in the Playoffs this year. On the back of Joel Embiid‘s legendary performance, the 76ers managed to clinch Game 3 against the New York Knicks. The 7x All-Star went off for 50 points on Thursday, cutting the Knicks’ series lead to 2-1. While Embiid had a dominant night, Knicks star Jalen Brunson continued his stunning run over the past few months. In keeping with Embiid, Brunson notched up an impressive 39 points, 2 rebounds, and 13 assists. And while the social media is flooded with comments praising The Process, Brunson’s efforts didn’t go unnoticed.

Former New York Knicks guard Stephon Marbury took to his Instagram to praise the 27-year-old player. With huge dark glasses on, Marbury made a clip where he raved about Brunson’s skills. “It’s lit. I can’t even go into it. It’s lit.” The post is captioned, “Jalen Brunson is attacking the hoop the way he is supposed to. He is shooting his pull-up jump shot and getting to his spots. He is very decisive in this game. There was one play where he had the defender on his back, and he took a jump shot that went in and out.”

He went on to praise Brunson’s Villanova buddies, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo, as well. “However, if he can continue to play with this disposition and aggressiveness for the remainder of the series, it will be positive. Dante and Hart, those guys make music together!”

Next up, the Knicks will be aiming to win Game 4 to gain a 3-1 lead in the series before heading back to New York. On the other, the Philadelphia 76ers must win the next matchup to even out the series. Do you think the 76ers will be able to maintain their consistency?
