Why did Jimmy Kimmel choose Charles Barkley?

On the latest episode of the podcast, ‘Strike Force Five,’ Jimmy Kimmel and several other celebrities such as Jimmy Fallon came together. During the conversation, one of the members, John Oliver of HBO’s ‘Last Week with John Oliver’, brought Barkley into the conversation. He praised the analyst for his entertaining personality. As they spoke about his show, Kimmel chimed in, “I think he’s my favorite guest of all the guests. There’s  nobody I enjoy talking to more than Barkley.”

Speaking of the Philadelphia 76ers legend, the host recalled a story about him. The NBA legend is known for having an honest and rebellious personality. Kimmel shared how, in one of his interviews, Barkley broke a rule as soon as he entered the room. According to the host, he received a request from Barkley’s publicist to avoid any words about drinking or gambling.

However, Barkley seemed far from complying with the rules or requests. The $50 million rich host is also Barkley’s favorite host. Then why did the analyst reject his invitation?

In an interview, Sir Charles shared how he had to always turn down Kimmel’s invitation to join him for a trip to Idaho. The reason behind it is the town itself. He revealed that there is nothing interesting about the place.
