A Georgia toddler by the name of Jayla Cummings sassed her daycare teacher with more panache than any seasoned adult in 2015. The video blew up online and Jayla was an overnight star. Almost a decade later, the toddler has resurfaced with Shaquille O’Neal sharing her video.

The video is in Shaq’s Instagram Stories. The video was filmed in 2015 but actually went viral in 2018. In it, Jayla had the most scorching response to her daycare teacher who dared to put her and her friend in timeout.

Her snappy rant opened with, “Well, let me tell you this Linda.” Her teacher replies that her name isn’t Linda. That’s the first clue she picked this up from a rant at another Linda.

Not to be deterred by a little misnaming, Jayla went ahead and told her teacher, “I would surely take a day off from you and you need a day off from these kids.” Take note and paraphrase for your next sassy comeback.

Jayla proceeds to give the best line that seasoned NBA stars like Shaquille O’Neal should use somewhere: “I’ll run the classroom. I’m just done with you.” She does something we didn’t think about when we were in timeout. She threatened to break it. Talk about gutsy!
