If there is one NBA athlete who provides credit where it is due, it is former Boston Celtics star Kevin Garnett. Despite the ?trash talker? reputation that he cultivated for himself during his time as a player, Garnett supports the current generation of players by promoting them and certain news stories related to them.

Garnett touched by Antetokounmpo’s heartwarming gesture

?nigeriatotheworld1?, an Instagram handle with over 240000 followers, recently uploaded a clip of Giannis Antetokounmpo?s visit to Lagos, Nigeria. The two time NBA MVP was seen at the ?Rowe Park Yaba Lagos?, surrounded by his fans and followers from all four sides. He signed a few T-Shirts and said hello to a couple of his fans.

Participating in the ?Youth Alive Basketball Championship?, the Greek Freak indulged in a game of basketball with some young players. Giannis tried to do his best to not take away the whole spotlight and even gave his little teammates a chance to score one of the baskets. Besides playing a few rounds, the Milwaukee Bucks player also took a moment to sit down and interact with the kids.

Garnett favors Bucks teammate over Giannis

Garnett shared the highlights of Giannis?s trip only a few days after he snubbed him for another player.

During an episode of his podcast, ?KG Certified?, Garnett invited former Los Angeles Clippers legend Paul Pierce for an interview. In the midst of the conversation, the topic shifted to discussing who deserves to be called the best Bucks player amongst the people in the current roster. While Pierce sided with Giannis, Garnett held a different opinion.

According to the 15x NBA All-Star, the best player on the team is 33-year-old Jrue Holiday.

?He take all the big shots. Lord, he take the big three, get the strip? said Garnett in reference to Holiday. While Pierce maintained his opinion that Giannis is the GOAT, Garnett reiterated by saying ?Giannis hasn’t been in the lineup. Jrue Holiday is f**king leading the pack when it comes to the Bucks.? Paul Pierce couldn?t help but be amazed at how passionate his former teammate was in defending his viewpoint.

Jrue Holiday is certainly making a name for himself in the NBA circle. Becoming an All Star for a second time last year, the player averaged a score of 18.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 7.9 assists during the All-Star break.
