Shaquille O’Neal is easily one of the most popular personalities in the world. Every major activity he indulges in makes headlines. The Los Angeles Lakers legend was photographed with an internet personality last year who happens to be a ‘Baby Mama’ of an NBA star.

This is, however, nothing new for the NBA Hall of Famer. Since his divorce from Shaunie Henderson, Shaq’s love life has made the news occasionally, but most of the reports have turned out to be rumors. However, a date with Brittany Renner sparked rumors.

Brittany Renner is a 32-year-old internet personality who is the mother of Mavs star PJ Washington’s child. What made that relationship infamous was the report that Renner was getting $200k in child support from the 25-year-old star. However, Renner rejected the report in 2022, saying that she was getting only $2500 a month and didn’t know where the number 200k came from.

The picture of Shaquille O’Neal and Renner walking together stormed the internet and fans engaged in speculating various angles to it.  However, there hasn’t been any confirmation of the relationship yet. Additionally, Renner has denied the rumors circulating on the internet.

Reports from TMZ stated, “Shaquille O’Neal hit up an L.A. hot spot for dinner on Tuesday, and the NBA legend was joined by none other than internet personality Brittany Renner, but we’re told it was nothing more than two friends catching up.”

Renner later addressed the issue in front of the cast of Basketball Wives, which included the 4x NBA champion’s ex-wife, Shaunie Henderson.

The VH1 show took an uncomfortable turn when Evelyn Lozada posed a direct question to Renner regarding her association with O’Neal. “I know you’re looking for a husband but is the husband Shaquille (O’Neal)?”, Lozada asked. “No. He’s one of the people I’ve always talked to. He’s just a good guy, and that’s just kind of it. There’s really not much to it,” Renner answered.

Even though Renner said there wasn’t much between her and Shaq, the netizens made it a big news. Earlier this year, another photo of Shaq went viral on X.

A look-back at Shaquille O’Neal’s dating history

The photo had the former Lakers star with his arms crossed around a girl on a yacht. The caption claimed the girl to be Shaq’s girlfriend. On X, the community section of the photo provided more information to the users. “This photo is from 2019 when Shaq was 47. It was during his time in Spain when he was DJing at Foreverland. That female was never confirmed to be his girlfriend as well,” the community section read, thus debunking another rumor of Shaq’s relationship.

But there have been a few occasions where Shaq has confirmed his relationship status. Before marrying Shaunie, Shaquille O’Neal dated Arnetta Yardbourgh for almost four years (1992-96). His eldest daughter Taahirah O’Neal was born when he was in a relationship with Yardbourgh. However, the relationship ended the same year Taahirah was born.

Shaq’s next relationship was with the only girl he ever married, Shaunie Henderson. The couple have 4 children from their 7-year marriage. They tied the knot in 2002 and split in 2009. Shaq has always taken the blame for his failures in the marriage. It was highlighted in Shaunie’s memoir, Undefeated. 

The reports about Shaq’s dating life have been prevalent, which included actress and author Karrine Steffans, Swedish actress and model Dominica Westling, and television personality Laura Govan. But there is one more name that the reports have suggested for quite some time now. It is of Nigerian-American actress Annie Ilonzeh. However, O’Neal hasn’t confirmed his relationship with any reported name.
