During the interview, the host asked him about the Los Angeles Lakers’s most loyal fan Jack Nicholson. The same actor who played the role of Joker in the movie Batman by Tim Burton. Recalling the star-studded games of the 80s, Johnson said how the presence of the luminaries of different domains encouraged the players. Furthermore, he added how Nicholson began to join them for the after-parties as well. He said, “When we won five championships and Jack Nicholson came to all our after parties like right…Jack was in there partying with us man.” He added, “We thought we were the coolest dudes on the face of the earth to have Jack partying and having fun on the dance floor.”

When the host teased that he might not be able to keep up with Nicholson at a party, Johnson agreed and said, “Nobody can; it was the coolest thing.”

Following this, Johnson shared more about the bond Nicholson created with the Lakers. He said, “For us to know the man not the actor but the man he was; he became our friend of ours.”
