The relationship between Scottie Pippen‘s ex-wife, Larsa Pippen, and Michael Jordan‘s youngest son, Marcus Jordan, is no longer a secret. The two are serious about their relationship and are planning on getting married soon. Marcus even wants MJ to be the best man at his wedding. However, this can be a bit tricky, as MJ has publicly shown his displeasure with the relationship. We all know that the Jordan and Pippen were an iconic duo on the basketball court. But will a Jordan-Pippen duo be just as iconic off the floor?

It was hard to comprehend for the hosts of the Pablo Torre Finds Out Podcast because this is not a situation that we often find people in. In a recent episode, they learned about Larsa Pippen’s mentality while getting into a relationship with Marcus Jordan.

Larsa Pippen’s initial thoughts on dating Michael Jordan’s son

During the show, they played a clip of Larsa talking about feeling attracted to Marcus for the first time. Larsa talked about having dinner one time with Marcus, and she thought in her mind that he was cute. Then Larsa said, “That night at LIV, I kind of felt like, No, he is hot as f**k. And it was kind of like, I never viewed you like that before, just because I figured like it was off-limits“.

So Larsa did not want to pursue anything at the time because she never thought this would be a possibility. She was skeptical and questioned herself about whether she would ever do it and why she would do it.

Larsa said, “Why would you do this, Larsa? …. Why would you date someone that you know just the families, It’s just a really crazy situation to be in“.

She understood at the time that if she ever pursued anything with Marcus, it would cause trouble for everyone based on the relationship between the two families. The hosts tried to contemplate what they just heard, and they came to the conclusion that she decided to go for something that was ‘off-limits’ because she found Marcus good-looking.

Does Michael Jordan still disapprove of this relationship?

There has already been a rift between Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen since the airing of The Last Dance. So to then find out that his son is dating his teammate’s ex-wife was not well received by the basketball legend. When asked if he approved of the relationship, MJ had previously given a resounding “no” in response.

However, during the interview with Pablo Torre, Marcus Jordan revealed that MJ has been supportive of their relationship and has not tried to stop them. Marcus revealed that his dad would be happy as long as he was happy and that the 60-year-old had never intervened in his personal life.
