Charles Barkley makes a wise decision for the future. There are a lot of changes that Chuck would like to see in the world. And that happens only when he becomes the President of the United States. Mind you, the basketball legend has a long list of things to do! While joking about a new job, Barkley swiftly snubbed Mark Cuban to give the new role to Michelle Obama. What is his new wish? And why did the billionaire get dismissed?

Well, it’s the same old wish that ‘Sir Charles’ has long advocated. This is a no-gift rule for adults during Christmas. He feels that only children should get gifts. When host Adam Lefkoe asked Chuck about what he wanted from Shaq for Christmas, he initially joked about cash and then went on to describe his no-gift rule.

Then he even went on to double down as he said that this would be the first amendment when he became President. “Adults should not be getting toys. When I’m President of the United States, that’s going to be the first amendment,” he said.

Joining in on the jest, Lefkoe asked whether it would be in 2028, to which Barkley hilariously answered positively. Taking the joke further, he even asked Chuck who would be his running mate. Barkley must have thought it through.

He didn’t waste much time, though, and answered Michelle Obama, who served as the First Lady from 2009 to 2017. “I’mma take Michelle Obama, somebody like that. Got to have some common sense on the ticket,” Barkley added.

Now, that leaves Mark Cuban sadly out of the picture, who previously claimed that it would be a success if it were a ticket of him and Chuck.

“Yes, absolutely,” Cuban responded when Ernie Johnson asked him the question on The Steam Room Podcast. The Philadelphia 76ers legend too had been positive about it. Well, Chuck has always had a dislike for gifts.

Charles Barkley doesn’t like Christmas for one reason

Everybody loves Christmas and receiving gifts from their loved ones. People are also fond of reciprocating this love through gifts. And this is exactly what Barkley dislikes, as he has joked about it before. And 18 is the limit.

“You know, Christmas sucks. It’s the worst holiday ever…everybody just wants stuff. When I become the President of the United States, once you get past 18, you don’t get gifts. That’s the magic cut-off number,” Barkley said on The Steam Room Podcast.

But that isn’t the only thing.

Chuck is skilled and talented, just as Cuban earlier praised him for. The Shark Tank mogul was an active surrogate for Kamala Harris’ campaign. “Charles can talk to anybody and put himself in any circumstance and get along with everybody, and I think that’s what we need,” Cuban lauded Chuck.

So, whether it’s the former First Lady or Cuban, when Chuck becomes president, we know what the first thing he would do.
