The Dodgers have rolled up their sleeves already as they take the crown, defeating the Chicago Cubs 4-1 in the series opener. After the blockbuster win last year, the team looked in high spirits. To boost morale, Dodgers owner Magic Johnson and his wife, Cookie Johnson, were present at the Tokyo Dome as well. However, before celebrating the big win, Cookie Johnson penned down a heart-touching post for her special person.

Cookie Johnson’s mother, Cora Kelly, turned 90 this year. And while Ms. Kelly’s daughter was nearly 6,041 miles away from America, she didn’t forget to wish on her special day. Taking to an IG post, the businesswoman shared several snaps of her mother and family during vacations.

“Dear mom, thank you for all the love the care and the wisdom you’ve given me throughout the years, and for always being there no matter what you truly show me what unconditional love is,” The post’s caption read. Did you know that it was her mother who named her Kookie, as she thought the name was adorable? It’s a cute name indeed.

However, Johnson wasn’t fond of it, as she preferred Cookie more. Despite being far away from her mother, Cookie expressed her love for her mom. “Wishing you all of God‘s blessings and favor on you in this year of your 90th celebration. We praise God for you every single day.❤️❤️❤️❤️” She further wrote in the caption.
