A few days ago, Lamar Odom updated about his new venture and about meeting President Trump. “We have successfully entered Trump’s Gala! Thank you to every brother and sister for your support and trust. Together, you’ve helped push $ODOM onto this stage ❤️”. This isn’t just another ex‑NBA player chasing crypto—it’s one who landed a direct invite from the President. To confirm it is not a hoax, Odom recently shared a conversation to put any theories to bed.

Ben Johnson, Trump Gala marketing director, called him. He said, “I gotta say, our director of marketing said, you know, oh, you know, someone put a fake name down on their form. They said they’re Lamar Odom. I’m glad I checked your Instagram.” The Instagram post is where the 2x NBA icon shared a post about the event. The 45-year-old even confirmed on the call that he was indeed attending the event. “Nah, it’s Lamar Odom, sir.”

Why launch a meme coin in 2025? Odom says it’s personal. The answer lies with his X statement. “I’ve looked death in the face and battled addiction to earn a second chance at life. Today, I hope to use the power of Web3 to help others find theirs.” Collaborators hail it as the world’s first blockchain‑driven philanthropy model.

Although she filed for divorce in 2013, Kardashian paused proceedings to support Odom after his 2015 overdose. However, as both Kardashian and Odom reportedly claimed, she left him after the former Lakers player repeated the same mistakes. In April’s season 3 premiere of The Kardashians, they shared a tense embrace—Khloé later admitting, “I felt nothing.”. Even though she’s endured public heartbreak since her split from Odom.

From chasing rebounds to battling addiction, Odom’s life has been a series of comebacks. Now, he’s betting on Web3’s transparency—and the President’s ear—to write his next act. Will $ODOM succeed? Or will it go down as one of the many failed MEME coins?
