Charles Barkley and social media are two extremes. The Philadelphia 76ers icon has had a tough time understanding the internet. However, that did not stop him from making an account on Instagram. Surprisingly, the 61-year-old who joined just a few days back has already garnered an impressive amount of followers. The TNT crew showcased stats of the number of followers all the four hosts of ‘Inside the NBA’ have, and Chuckster has already secured 3rd place. However, after realizing Shaq‘s reach on Instagram, Barkley was left speechless!

Within a week, Barkley managed to get 212,000 followers, which is quite impressive for a newbie. Anyhow, that excitement did not last long after the 1993 MVP got to know that Shaq has 34.3 million followers on Instagram. In disbelief, he said, “Shaq you got 34 million?”, and the LA Lakers champion went on to be humble, saying, “Something like that”. Anyhow, Shaq did not hesitate to term CB as a “dummy” on live TV. He also told Barkley, “You might be the dumbest person on social media”, as he is still a lost user in the internet world.

What surprised Barkley more was Kenny Smith’s 691k fan following. He hilariously questioned the Houston Rockets legend, “Kenny, you got 691K people who think your life is interesting?!”. However, Smith took pride in it. He shared, “Every time I make a post, they always say ‘hello!'”. Barkley’s innocence turned out to be an advantage for Shaq and Smith. They never miss a chance to roast him, this time about Instagram!

Shaq and Co. teach Charles Barkley about OnlyFans and sliding into DMs!

Sadly, Barkley knew nothing about the internet. Although he has 219k on his Instagram, he still does not know how to post a picture or add a story. This is already enough trouble for him, and Shaq requested the Sixers icon to tag ‘OnlyFans’ in all of his posts. Yet again, CB was clueless. He assumed that it was just a few specific posts for the basketball fans on his followers list. Sadly, that’s not even close!

Anyhow, Barkley is quite aware of what sliding into someone’s DM (direct message) means. Although the crew believes “that is the worst possible thing” Barkley could do in his position, they gave him his flowers for knowing the term. Well, the 61-year-old has a long way to go. This is just the start. He has used Instagram to promote his brand, ‘Redmont Vodka’. Let’s see what else he has on the cards.

Hopefully, he doesn’t tag the ‘OnlyFans’ in his posts! What are your thoughts on the above story? Share it in the comments below.
