Dwight Howard, in his prime days, was a terror for his opponents. Despite previously engaging in international league, he remains eager to get back to the NBA. Just months after his power display in Taiwan, the player got the opportunity to showcase his magic in Europe for the first time. However, the hopes of his latest deal offer from the Spanish basketball league also seem to dwindle as his recent cryptic X post alludes to.
Previously, it was announced that Howard had signed a deal with Zunder Palencia, the bottom-placed team of the Spanish Liga Endesa standings. However, Howard’s recent statement on X has stirred the pots again. Taking to his X account, the 8x NBA All-Star player wrote, “When you’re still a F.A before the holidays.” Many fans were surprised and dissatisfied with his statement that he is still a free agent.

Some fans even wrote how they want him back with the Lakers. They appreciate his contributions and wish to see him back in action. One of the fans even wrote, “So many teams NEED THIS DUDE. I’m befuddled why he isn’t on a team. He’s JUST AS GOOD AS RUDY GOBERT NOW! If not better!” Howard has previously played with the Taoyuan Leopards in the T1 league in 2021. He was able to gain much popularity among his international fans. The player still hopes to get back to the NBA. However, things haven’t worked out for him.

Dwight Howard is determined to make a return
Amidst all the anticipation earlier this year, the Golden State Warriors did not sign Howard. It was revealed that ahead of the start of their training camp. As per The Athletic, Howard underwent a two-day workout and discussion with the team and even met head coach Steve Kerr.

In response to this decision, Howard posted a cryptic tweet suggesting his determination to make a comeback despite not being selected by the Warriors. However, for now, he remains a free agent.
