Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade has a packed and eventful personal life. The Wade family is caught up in the middle of college surfing for their 16-year-old daughter, Zaya. Recently, they were spotted touring the University of Washington. Post that, the 42-year-old was seen celebrating his mother-in-law’s 77th birthday. The celebration had a full house with the whole Union-Wade squad. The celebration then carried onto Santa Barbara for some Wade family quality time.

The snippets of the fun-filled getaway were made available to the fans via Dwyane Wade’s Instagram story. He wrote, “Early Sunday dinner date with Mine (a red heart).” He tagged both his daughters Zaya and Kaavia in the story. The story was further reshared by the youngest daughter, Kaavia.

The absence of the mother was noted on the dinner date. Though Gabrielle Union accompanied her family to Santa Barbara initially, she had certain work commitments that she needed to cater to later. Union was seen promoting her film ‘The Idea of You’ at 92NY. She is associated with the film in the capacity of a producer.

Union pointed out the paucity of time she had for putting together the look but she served. The 51-year-old donned a loose structured white shirt over black culottes and paired it with a high braided pony. While the promotions are in full swing, Union has drawn a parallel between the movie and her personal life. Wonder what it is?

Marriage to Dwyane Wade inspired the professional venture

Only recently Gabrielle Union has revealed how her age-gap romance with her husband Dwyane Wade was the inspiration behind the adaptation of The Idea of You. The movie centers around a 40-year-old woman, played by Anne Hathaway, who falls in love with a 24-year-old musician, played by Nicholas Galitzine.

Pointing out similarities that she saw in the movie and her life in a post-screening interview, she said, “Being inspired by Robinne Lee’s book and knowing that Solene’s story was a very specific story, I was like ‘I want in’. I’ve lived this! I’ve got a younger man with a big life.”
