Dwyane Wade’s love for luxury is no secret, and his latest addition proves it once again. Just days before his much-anticipated statue honor, Wade came home to a special surprise in his driveway—a stunning Aston Martin Vanquish. After spending the last few weeks supporting his daughter Zaya at her fashion events and hosting a men’s wellness retreat, Wade returned to find the sleek car, the same one he arrived in for his pre-celebration party.

The Florida-based dealership, The Collection, was behind this lavish gift. Clearly thrilled, Wade took to Instagram to show off his new ride. “I come back home, The Collection got a car for me,” he captioned his IG story, sharing the black beauty with its black and red interior. In true Wade style, he set the scene to Rick Ross and Drake’s “Aston Martin Music,” adding some flair to the already exciting moment.

Now, about that car—it’s not just any Aston Martin. The 2025 Vanquish is the latest addition to the iconic lineup, and it’s a beast. Revealed just last month in Venice, it’s powered by a 5.2-liter V12 twin-turbo engine, boasting 824 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. With an 8-speed automatic transmission, this car rockets from zero to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds, hitting a top speed of 214 mph. That’s right—the fastest Aston Martin ever made in their 111-year history.

The price tag? A cool $430,000. But this isn’t just about speed—it’s about craftsmanship. The 2025 Vanquish features carbon fiber bodywork, a plush leather interior, a 10-inch touchscreen, and a longer wheelbase for a smoother ride. Also, the start button illuminates, creating a futuristic vibe for the owner.

With additional performance components like Bilstein DTX active dampers and Pirelli tires, this car is more than just looks. Wade’s latest ride is a perfect match for his luxurious lifestyle, and it’s sure to turn heads on the road.

From washing car to owner of the cars

Dwyane Wade’s love for cars goes way back. In high school, he worked as a porter for a car company, washing cars and prepping them for customers. “One of my jobs in high school, I was a porter for a Bob Watson car company,” Wade once told CNBC. That summer gig in Illinois gave him an early taste of what he would one day collect—a garage filled with luxury cars. At one point, Wade had over a dozen cars, quite the upgrade from washing them!

Interestingly, D-Wade didn’t have a financial advisor when he first entered the NBA. With career earnings of $190 million, he lived a lavish lifestyle, including a massive car collection. However, the best financial advice he ever got? “Get rid of about 16 cars,” he shared with Men’s Health. He did, slimming his garage down to an Audi Q8. But don’t think for a second he stopped there. His collection has since expanded in style.

Dwyane Wade’s car collection

Among his most iconic rides is the Porsche 911 Cabriolet, which he and LeBron James once dubbed their “Batman and Robin” cars. D-Wade’s love for Porsche didn’t stop there—he also owned a Porsche 911 GT2 RS and just recently showed off his $198,500 Porsche 911 Turbo on social media. “It’s Porsche not Pors,” he captioned the post, showing off his sharp sense of humor along with his ride.

For his 40th birthday, Wade splurged on a customized Mercedes-Maybach S 580, courtesy of Omar McGee from Posh Luxury Imports. With its rare Sienna ‘basketball’ interior, this car, priced at around $225,000, added a personal touch to his collection. McGee reflected on his work for Wade, saying, “It was an honor.”

And let’s not forget his wife Gabrielle Union’s thoughtful Father’s Day gift—a 1974 Ford Bronco. Wade had mentioned wanting one when they moved to LA, and Gabrielle delivered. Wade shared a clip of his new car and wrote: “Happy Father’s Day to Meeeeee!!!!” He also added: “I mentioned years ago that when I moved to LA. I would love a Bronco!! Well the wife was listening. Thank you @gabunion you did that!!!!!” The creamy white exterior and burnt orange interior made it the perfect vintage addition to his growing collection.

Gabrielle Union has certainly played her part in expanding his car collection. For his 39th birthday, she surprised him with a 1988 Mercedes-Benz SL, a classic beauty with a crisp white exterior and a light brown leather interior. Wade, clearly taken by the gift, took his daughter Zaya for a spin in the convertible for a special “father-daughter date.” He shared his excitement, “Damn, baby, this is nice!” while dancing alongside the car, admitting Union had “raised the bar” with this one.

Interestingly, Wade doesn’t just collect cars—he shares the experience with his kids. Back in 2017, he taught his then 15-year-old son Zaire to drive in a $270,000 Ferrari GTC4Lusso. Wade captured the moment on Snapchat, with Zaire looking a bit nervous behind the wheel of the bright red supercar. “A little nervous but it’s all good,” Wade reassured him, adding, “Who wouldn’t be nervous? You see what he driving!” It’s clear that Wade’s Ferrari collection is just as impressive, with a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta also in his garage.

But it doesn’t stop there. Wade’s collection boasts a Hummer H2 SUT, which he showcased at the General Motors All-Car Showdown in 2006. And let’s not forget his supercar lineup, featuring three McLarens—an MP4-12C, a 570S, and a 720S Spider—as well as a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Maserati Ghibli. Talk about a dream garage!
