Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s biggest supporter is their daughter, Kaavia. But she is also their biggest critic. She holds the fashion authority in the house and we can say that she is good at it. But it seems like there are a lot of things Kaavia needs to pay attention to. Christmas was going fine until Wade and his wife revealed they did not know the lyrics to a popular and classic carol. That clearly left the youngest frustrated and disappointed.

Those who follow the Wades on social media will know that the couple has been spending Christmas with their family and friends. Both Wade and Union have shared several hilarious as well as wholesome snaps and snippets on their IG handles. Earlier, DWade shared a string of snaps on his IG story to show their preparation for the big day.

The 3x NBA champ then shared a heartwarming carousel IG post, summing up all their Christmas highlights. He captioned it, “A Wade Family Christmas East Coast Edition Before Kaavia Goes Solo 😂 🌊 ❄️ 🌲” The first two slides feature a picture of the parents holding their little one’s hands on the beach. Kaavia can be seen sharing a bright smile.

The third slide is a clip showing Kaavia clearly upset with her parents’ inability to recall the lyrics of the famous carol, The 12 Days of Christmas. “You can learn the words with this song,” Kaavia says as her mother struggles to sing the song. She is seen putting her head down on the table in disappointment.

Union shared this particular clip on her story and wrote, “We cannot stop watching this!!! @kaaviajames is so over our incompetence.” A good karaoke session could only lift her spirits. She loves it. The little one was also seen enjoying a karaoke night at their Thanksgiving party. The entire family, as well as DWade’s friends, had come together to celebrate the day. This is also Wade’s favorite holiday.

But coming back to Christmas, Kaavia wasn’t exactly happy when she went to the beach with her parents. Is it because of the karaoke? What was the reason this time?

The Holiday vibes are missing for Kaavia despite Dwyane Wade’s beach visit

Kaavia appeared more upset than before. Although she smiled for the photos, she wasn’t exactly happy about the beach visit. The reason, as her mother revealed, was that she would have preferred a trip to Hawaii instead. It just wasn’t giving holiday vibes to the little one. Union shared a snap on her IG story and wrote, “@kaaviajames 😂😆😂 She wishes we were in Hawaii 😂😂.”

But Gabrielle wants this to be a memory for Kaavia. Joking about the situation, she wrote, “This is definitely gonna be a therapy session in about 20 years.” Judging her parents slightly, Kaavia kept her face nearly hidden in her pink puff jacket. “Kaavs face is classic,” Union wrote on her IG. At least she had fun spending Christmas with her god sisters.

Well, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union might need some extra lessons if they want to impress Kaavia. The 6-year-old is also the fashion judge of the family, often rating the outfits of her parents or her sister, Zaya.
