Dwyane Wade Questions Wife Gabrielle’s Kiss With 31YO Co-Star in a Hilarious Confrontation

The 55th NAACP Image Awards, which honors Black excellence, was recently hosted in Los Angeles. Last year Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union were awarded the prestigious President’s Award. Previous winners of the President’s Award include Rihanna, LeBron James, Muhammad Ali, and several others.

This year Gabrielle Union was nominated for her latest movie The Perfect Find. She was nominated in the Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Limited Series, or Dramatic Special award category. Her co-star Keith Powers won the Outstanding Actor in a Television Movie, Limited Series, or Dramatic Special.  Before the award ceremony started, Wade and Union were speaking with the Nikki Rich Show, where Wade’s question regarding her intimate moment in the movie caught Gabrielle off guard.

Dwyane Wade asked her, “at work how did the kissing go?” Union couldn’t hide her laughter and said, “You were at work on that exact moment.” They both gabbed with each other, continuing to tease that it was just work, with both Wade and Union laughing about it. Later Wade was asked if he had any projects coming up, to which he replied, “Just support,” which was adorable from the pair. However, Union pointed out his recent nominations at the Oscars.

The Wade couple always work hard not only in their individual careers but also in their community and their family. Their chemistry is impeccable. The pair are called couple goals by many of their fans. Both of them are huge on being supportive to each other and their family. They proved their support during last year’s award ceremony.

Dwyane Wade highlighting family values at the President’s Award

The couple were honored just one day after their daughter was able to legally change her name and gender. Wade used the opportunity to speak directly to Zaya, thanking his daughter for showing such strength during certain public scrutiny.  “As your father, all I’ve wanted to do was get it right,” he began. “I’ve sat back and watched how gracefully you’ve taken on a public scrutiny. And even though it’s not easy, I watched you walk out of that house every morning. As yourself. I admire how you’ve handled the ignorance in our world. I admire that you face every day. To say that your village is proud of you is an understatement.” Dwyane Wade highlighted in more detail on how his role is not direct in Zaya’s future, thanking his daughter for making him a better human being and also for showing him and the world what real courage is.
