“I listen to my kids a lot that’s how I learn.” Dwyane Wade shared the parenting routine that he follows. The 3x NBA champion also encouraged having “hard” conversations with children and educating them about the dating world. But it seems two of his kids have raised issues with the NBA icon about meddling in their love life.

“Well yeah, I have a 23-year-old son and you know what’s crazy is he don’t even come to me for dating information advice or anything.” On a recent episode of his podcast, the Heat icon and his friends opened up about the importance of communication with kids. But it seems Zaire Wade doesn’t want to communicate about his dating life to his father. So, now the question may arise, who does the former G-League star go to?

Dwyane Wade answered, “Son don’t ask me nothing about women and dating and none of that he go ask his mom. It’s different because you know you feel like oh you know anything man wise he gonna tap me in. He don’t tap me in. I’m here. I got all the info though.” The 43-year-old stated that he has the information, but his son never asks for any advice. There might be a reason why Zaire stays away from his father for his love life.

Being an icon of the game, the limelight is always on Dwyane Wade and his family. And that spotlight can get in the way sometimes, which Zaya Wade recently revealed. “The people I’ve dated have all been afraid of him in the first interaction. He’s gigantic, and he has this deep, booming voice. But the facade only lasts for so long and you actually see his real personality. He’s a teddy bear.”

Despite dream setback, Dwyane Wade sends a motivating message to his son

A few months ago, The Flash stated how his son was his “favorite” player to watch. That tag, the Heat icon previously only associated with Michael Jordan. The 23-year-old was part of the G-league draft in order to get closer to his NBA dream. But as per reports, he was undrafted which might have stung Z-Wade. But Dwyane Wade wasn’t letting his son feel demotivated.

On Zaire’s birthday, the 3x NBA champion once again used MJ’s reference. “Your jordan year…Year 23.” On his Instagram post, he added, “23. We celebrate my YNG 👑 on his day… Enjoy Wade County tonite🫡 ZWade I love you!” Zaire continued to update his followers with his training that he was not giving up on his NBA dream.

At the age of 19, he decided to skip his collegiate journey and entered the G-league at the age of 19. Since then, he has traveled to Africa and China and played in those leagues to showcase his skills. But that NBA debut is still away.
