The big night for Dwyane Wade is finally here! Just last month, in an interview, Wade expressed his wish to attend the Oscars. With the nominations of a promising movie, the champ has finally made it to the Oscars red carpet. His wife, Gabrielle Union, is also by his side during this proud moment. However, amidst the Oscar festivities, the 3x champ didn’t forget to entertain his fans and followers. He finally jumped onto the popular TikTok trend of Redrum.

While the viral song Redrum by British American rapper 21 Savage played in the background, the champ and Oscar-nominated executive producer flexed and flaunted his cool looks in front of the camera. He shared the clip on his Instagram Stories with his 20.3 million followers. The entire clip can be seen on his TikTok account.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union revel in the dazzling Oscar night

The 3x champion’s wife shared numerous snaps of her draped in the gorgeous silver gown by Carolina Herrera. Along with that, she shared some adorable moments of their Oscar award night and after party. In one of the posts shared by Wade, he expressed his gratitude for the honor. While the first slide of the post showed them both giving a powerful gaze toward the camera, the second slide captured him planting a tender kiss on Union’s shoulder. He captioned it, Took her (Gabrielle Union) to the Oscars 😎 Last night was a night of firsts: @59thandprairie’s first Oscar nomination and my debut in the @wayofwade 11s. I hope I’m making younger me proud. Let this be your reminder that anything is achievable when you do the work”

Another clip featured Wade turning into a serious amateur photographer for his wife. The Miami Heat champion also looked stunning in his custom Versace suit featuring a white tux jacket and black pants. There are several more posts featuring a collection of snaps from the party. It was truly an iconic night.

He was just steps away from making history. With this win, he would have become the fourth NBA player to win an Oscar, but unfortunately, he lost to “The Last Repair Shop.” The other NBA players to have etched their names in history are Shaquille O’Neal, Stephen Curry, and Kobe Bryant. Nevertheless, Wade’s Oscar-nominated film “The Barber of Little Rock” has carved a special place in our hearts. What is your take on this? Let us know in the comments section below.
