Dwyane Wade’s Competitive Daughter Wouldn’t Let Mom, Gabrielle Union, End the Day Peacefully

Gabrielle Union shared a heartwarming moment with her youngest daughter. Or so it might seem at the start. Kaavia showed she gets a little competitive streak from her NBA star dad and showed her mom how it’s done. Funny as it was, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s five-year-old displayed beautiful spiritual strength, leaving her fans on Instagram flooded with fuzzies. The little mother-daughter cuddle-fest ended on the sweetest note too.
Union, being an underrated comedian herself, described the incident with the perfect analogy in the caption. “When the guest preacher tries to lead the congregation in prayer…” It’s because the actress started the bedtime prayer first and Kaavia sprung into action and took over.
After saying a prayer, Kaavia was very satisfied when her mom told her, “That was a good one.” Gab even wrote in the caption, “Glad she knows where her strength comes from.” Union provided a little extra context in the comments about what really happened too. “Kaav was trying to stall frfr so I tried to jump in and say the prayer but her competitive self was not about to let that happen!” That’s a 3x NBA champ’s daughter right there.

Union got to complete her prayer, making a heartfelt mention for both her daughters, Kaavia and Zaya, so they’d have all the love and safety they deserve. Kaavia loved it enough to give her mom a big hug and tell her, “I love you.”

The cute little details that left the mother-daughter duo’s combined 23 million Instagram followers giddy included their matching pajamas, Gab’s hair bonnet, and her bare face. She confirmed to one commenter that they indeed have “matching feathered pj’s” that are pink and have feathered sleeves. All of this brought out Union’s celebrity friends expressing their adoration for Kaavia.

Kaavia Wade leaves her famous friends overwhelmed
Among the many commenters was Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, who wrote, “This is so beautiful God bless your family.” A few months ago, Kaavia and Zaya with their parents went crazy at Beyonce’s birthday concert. So this appreciation comes full circle for the fam.
Her colleague from The Black Lady Sketch Show, comedian and Kaavia’s aunt, Robin Thede, was so glad to have a niece like Kaav. “As her auntie, I can honestly say she does not get her divine sweetness from me … but I can say that experiencing hers has made me a better person.”
