The 2000 hit film ‘Bring It On’ was iconic in many ways. The film saw huge box office success, grossing $90 million worldwide. It was a breakthrough movie for Dwyane Wade‘s wife, Union, who starred in it. The other stars present in the movie enjoy equal success. After this first film, it had five more sequels, thanks to its popularity. Union’s daughter might have just reignited all the memories with another sequel.

The actress’ youngest daughter, Kaavia, recreated Union’s character, Isis, from the movie. She dressed in the same green cheerleader outfit that her mother wore in the film. The word “Clovers” is emblazoned on the top. It was not exactly a sequel, but it was a wholesome tribute by Kaavia to her mom. The clip has numerous snaps and snippets of Union from the movie, as well as Kaavia dressed as Isis. It can be seen on Kaavia’s Instagram handle. The post is captioned, Who did it best? 😂Bring It On: Kaav’s Version (2024)”

While one of the fans wrote, “Kaav, duh! But you are your mother’s daughter,” another Instagram user wrote. “Kaavia is THE cheerleader of all cheerleaders. But, mom, you did your thing.” Union’s hairstyle Larry Sims also commented on the post and wrote, “Kaav Is the Leader Of The Squad!!!”

This is not the first time that Kaavia took inspiration from her mother’s outfits.

Kaavia James Wade nails mom Gabrielle Union’s ’90s prom look with flair

The little fashionista is aware of the ingenious fashion sense of her mother, Union. No wonder she takes inspiration from her mother. Just a few months ago, Kaavia channeled her mother’s glam as she recreated Union’s 90’s prom look. The 5-year-old wore a gorgeous black-and-white dress that looked very much like the one Union wore to her prom.

“@kaaviajames definitely wore it better,” Union wrote on her Instagram Stories as a side-by-side collage. On one side, the picture featured Kaavia, while the other side had Union dressed in her ruffled design gown. Although this was just a coincidence, the latest one is an exact recreation of the character Union played in the movie.

The cult classic follows the story of two cheerleading teams. One is the Toros in San Diego, and the other is the Clovers in East Compton. Union played the role of Isis, captain of the Clovers team. None of the five sequels released had the same cast as the first one. However, numerous actors from the movies gained fans’ attention and success. Following this, the Miami Heat legend’s wife, Union, went on to feature in numerous more hit films, which led her to become one of the leading actresses in Hollywood.
