The shady baby is at it again! No one but little Kaavia is bold enough to troll her parents. And she uses cheeky ways to get away with it too. Kaavia’s official Instagram handle often features hilarious posts about her teasing her famous parents, Dwyane Wade, and mother Gabrielle Union like the one from their yacht trip. The latest post first humorously trolls the Wade couple before, of course, consoling them with nostalgic photos.

It’s part of the popular TikTok trend, ‘My parents said they used to break hearts back in the day.‘ The trend usually includes the users’ parents’ appearance in their 50s showing a state of disapproval. And then goes on to surprise viewers with stunning photos of them from their younger years.

Wade is still enjoying his early 40s and Union her early 50s, but it did not stop them from hopping on the trend.

The clip starts with Union and Wade dancing awkwardly in funny outfits, and then—cue the flashback! It shows a medley of Union’s photos from her 2000s movie days, while Wade’s early Miami Heat days take center stage. The post seemed to ask a cute question, “Do the genes come with the inheritance?

Along with a portion of Wade and Union’s $210 million wealth, Kaavia is looking for whether she gets the genes as well. As we see it, she was born with them.

The irony is that Wade and Union still look young and dashing. It’s just that they no longer have a chance to break hearts. They’ve been happily married for 10 years. In fact, they recently celebrated their wedding anniversary, where Union serenaded her husband. She took special vocal lessons and sang Shania Twain’s song ‘You’re Still The One in one.’

Kaavia James Wade in tears at parent’s 10 year wedding anniversary

While Union was clad in a pink sequined dress, the Miami Heat champion wore an all-white suit for their 10th wedding anniversary. Among friends and close relatives, the two likely renewed their vows. Their youngest, who was perhaps the flower girl, was in tears seeing her parents.

While the appearance genes are strong, Kaavia has certainly inherited more than just looks from her parents. The boundless energy and excitement to explore new things come from her father, while the sassy attitude is most definitely from her mother.

During their yacht trip in France, Kaavia was spotted giving her parents a subtle side-eye. Before that, she once even sang a mean song for her mother. “Caught a stray and landed in my feelings..then she asked for her masters,Union wrote while sharing the song in her IG post. Kaavia has clearly inherited more than a few traits. It will be interesting to see whether she has inherited the father’s athletics genes as well.

Stay tuned for more such updates and join us for the exciting second episode of the “Dual Threat Show” as our host BG12 sits down with Georgia Bulldogs star and Mountain West All-Freshman Team Selection, Asia Avinger.
