Apart from that, the actress will also be sharing tips on how she uses beauty and self-care to feel confident. She will also be part of the company’s Black History Month social campaign. Collaborating with Ipsy on the Icon Box and being part of its Black History Month social content has been such a meaningful experience for me. As a Black female founder, it’s important to me to find ways to highlight the joy found in self-expression and vibrancy found in the Black experience. Through this collaboration, I hope I can empower everyone to hold space for the many versions of themselves and help them find the looks that celebrate each one,” Union said.

Through this campaign, the company will shed the spotlight on the motivating stories and contents, as well as products like Union’s, making her the fitting celebrity for the campaign. “As the founder of Flawless by Gabrielle Union, an actress, wife, mother, and activist, Union is constantly refining and evolving her look to show up as her most-authentic self in all her roles. This authenticity is something we know inspires our community, which makes her partnership with Ipsy a true collaboration in both spirit and execution,” Kristy Westrup, chief merchandising officer at Ipsy said.

A big moment for Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s Proudly

The couple launched Proudly all the way back in 2022. It is the first-ever baby care product brand by Dwyane Wade and Union. And it was their youngest daughter, Kaavia, who influenced them. When the concerned parents could not find the right skin and hair care products for Kaavia, they decided to launch their own brand to address those needs. And there were several others with similar needs who made this brand a success.

Stepping into the new year, the Proudly products will also be available in DG stores, which have a market cap of $16.31 billion.  💛 In partnership with @gabunion and @dwyanewade , we’re happy to introduce PROUDLY™️, now available at select DG location,” the official IG page of the stores claimed.
