The Paris 2024 Olympics couldn’t be more star-studded. Celebrity friends and sports legends descended upon Paris to witness the event. This year is especially significant as it marks the 50th anniversary of Team USA Basketball. Among the celebrities arriving at the Team USA House at the Palais Brongniart, 4670 miles away in Paris, were Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, who made a glamorous entrance for the occasion.

Before American rapper Snoop Dogg took over the event with his performance, the couple enjoyed their own photo session with the athletes. In a carousel post shared on Wade’s Instagram, the couple posed alongside Team Gymnastics members Jordan Chiles and Sunisa Lee. Staying true to Paris’s reputation as the City of Fashion, the couple dazzled in their attire.

The “Bring It On” actress wowed her fans with a summery silk maxi dress adorned with floral details at the neckline, paired with a chic Prada bag, while Wade looked dapper in a gray suit and a stylish chain necklace. Their close friend Taraji P. Henson, who turned heads in a chic sheer black lacy outfit, was also present at the event. The post is captioned, “An Olympic Night!”

Both Union and Henson were spotted enthusiastically cheering for the seven-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles and the rest of the team.

In a clip shared by Union on her IG handle, Simone Biles was seen adorably gushing over the “Bring It On” actress, saying, “Gabrielle Union is here. She is up here.”

Ahead of the Olympics, Union gave an endearing shout-out to Team USA. She performed an imperfect yet impressive somersault, almost injuring herself in the process but continuing to offer words of encouragement to motivate the athletes.

“Team USA, we love you, we are cheering for you, we are praying for you, but you’ve got this. Jordan, Simone, Suni, Jade, Hezly: we are rooting for you. Let’s go, Team USA!” Union enthusiastically declared in the clip. 

The Miami Heat legend Wade also posed alongside Katie Ledecky. NFL icon Tom Brady was present at the event, where he exchanged a few words with NBA champions Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, and Jrue Holiday. After securing a 3-0 record, Team USA basketball will need to defeat Brazil to advance to the semifinals. Members of the 2024 U.S. Men’s and Women’s teams, along with basketball legends like Carmelo Anthony and Sue Bird, were also in attendance.
