For a long time, performance artists have worn the Michael Jordan brand. One doesn’t have to look too far back for an example because this year’s Super Bowl performance, too, had an MJ appreciation. When Usher wore custom Air Jordan 4s in ‘Chrome’ edition, similarly another artist recently had the Air Jordan kicks, which came to Marcus Jordan’s attention.

The trophy signifies his brand, The Trophy Room. The store is located in Orlando, Florida. When it started in 2016, there were allegations that Marus Jordan had been backdooring his sneakers to resellers. However, with the business still going strong, one can assume it is not necessarily the case.

Last December, Marcus Jordan announced the launching of two versions of Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low, the trophy room founder said on the final episode of Complex‘s ‘Full-Size Run.’ The Air Jordan 1 capsule is based on Michael Jordan’s 1986 Fleer Basketball rookie card and a photo of Michael from a 1984 Sports Illustrated issue in which he’s wearing the Air Jordan 1 High Black Toe.

Marcus Jordan and his family celebrated an anniversary bash, honoring Michael Jordan

In May this year, Michael Jordan’s rapidly growing celebrity-owned tequila brand, Cincoro, once again collaborated with Marcus Jordan’s Trophy Room. The event was special this time as it was the 8th-anniversary celebration on May 23rd. Cincoro also celebrated two years in business, so they had a tequila tasting on that day.

The Trophy Rooms ‘Shop & Sip event also included shopping from Marcus Jordan’s venture, with a whopping 23% off on Nike and Jordan products.

In 2022, while speaking to Sports Illustrated, Marcus Jordan revealed, “What I’m trying to do is recreate the atmosphere, the warm feeling that people would feel as they would walk through the trophy room when we had friends over.” Just last month, members of the University of Central Florida Knights Men’s Basketball team were invited to the store to shop for new gear. Some would have surely picked Air -Jordan, just like Chris Brown.
