A few days ago, LeBron shocked everyone with a very cryptic message that many people think is an indication of what the fans are fearing the most. NBA veteran Richard Jefferson recently tried to decode what the LeBron post was all about on an episode of Road Trippin’.

Jefferson said, “Look, Lakers fans, at the end of the day, it’s almost over…Don’t worry, it’s almost over Lakers fans.” Jefferson believes that the biggest players in the league right now are at the very end of their careers and it’s only a matter of one or two more years before they bid farewell to the game. So, even if LeBron’s hourglass emoji post on X means something, it was all about to come to an end anyway so they shouldn’t be so worried. He said, “When you’re in these like epic windows, you always feel like it’s never gonna end, right? Well, this window, for them, is closing…Some people might say it’s closed. I think it’s closing.”

The NBA veteran gave a brutal reality check to the Lakers fans when they were looking for hope. After all, the Lakers are 25-25 and 8-17 on the road. Being at the 9th place in the West isn’t a good look for the franchise and the aging players aren’t going to add much value to the team as well.

Is LeBron James looking for a way out?

The rumors are at a high for sure. However, the insiders report that there is no such talk going on with the franchise and the superstar player. LeBron’s agent Rich Paul told Brian Windhorst “LeBron won’t be traded, and we aren’t asking to be”. Windhorst stated three facts based on which he is certain that the 39-year-old is not going anywhere.

He said, “1, LeBron is building a $100 million compound in Beverly Hills. 2, that option for next year for LeBron is $50 million, five-zero. And 3, LeBron’s opt-in deadline is June 29th. The draft is June 26th-27th”. So, it’s official that LeBron is staying, but is that the end of all the problems that the Lakers have? No, and it’s about time they start dealing with them one by one.
