“Everyone Knows, This Is Your House”: Heat Family, Jimmy Butler and Co Cherish Dwayne Wade on Special Night

The Miami Heat doesn’t need a reason to celebrate Dwyane Wade. However, when there is an occasion, the Heat puts on a show for the biggest player in their franchise’s history. Right now, they are gearing up to celebrate Wade’s Hall of Fame induction, an honor bestowed upon him last year.
To mark the special occasion, the Heat released a clip with several of their current stars on the rosters, talking about D-Wade and declaring what every Heat fan knows in their heart.

The video features Jimmy Butler, Caleb Martin, Jamal Cain, and more giving D-Wade his highly deserved flowers. The clip posted by the Heat and Kaseya Center captures some of the most iconic moments from Wade’s career. The players in the clip can be heard saying, “The map might say Kaseya Center, but we all know it’s your house.” Indeed, it is his house, his franchise because not only he is the most popular star to have represented the franchise, he also contributed a lot to the famous Heat culture.

In addition to that, the Miami franchise’s three championships were all brought in by D-Wade. His legacy and impact on the franchise is such that fans have been swarming and demanding that a Dwyane Wade statue be erected, and the Heat legend gets to experience an honor that has only been given to a handful of athletes. While we still have to wait for an official word on the statue, the city of Miami is preparing to honor its hero for his Hall of Fame induction.

Wade was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame last year alongside some of the greatest athletes. Now the celebration is coming to his very own city. The celebration will include a career highlight montage of D-Wade, an interview with the Heat legend, DJ Khaled’s performance after the game, and a few other festivities in Wade’s honor.

Bam Adebayo said, “Our relationship is very authentic, it’s true, it’s honest. And the biggest thing I’ve always told D-Wade is never lie to me. And he’s kept that promise. I feel like that’s what makes our relationship so unique because I don’t have to see him every day.” Adebayo is one of the many athletes who represent the Heat culture that is influenced by D Wade and his legacy.
