Nobody dares to deny that Taylor Swift is one of the biggest pop stars in the world. Her Eras world tour almost had the entire globe grooving to her hit songs. But, is the 14x Grammy winner also the biggest influencer? Well, there might be some disagreements. On the Club 520 Podcast, Jeff Teague’s co-hosts, Bishop and DJ Wells, believe that socialite Kim Kardashian is a bigger influencer than Swift. Even Teague seemed to agree with them.

Teague and his crew praised the Kardashians for building a massive global business empire on a recent episode of the podcast. To back up their claim that Kardashian is a bigger influencer than Swift, both DJ Wells and Bishop highlighted the popularity of Kim’s shapewear brand, SKIMS.

That is when Jeff Teague hilariously stated on the Club 520 Podcast, “Yeah, nobody buying the Taylor Swift shape ups,” alluding that Kardashian is more popular than the pop star. Well, Swift doesn’t own a shapewear but the former Atlanta Hawks star made his opinion clear to the listeners.

The crew further discussed how Kim Kardashian has a major grip over the fans influence-wise, and they believe that she is bigger than Swift. However, this is not the first time Teague took a dig at the pop star.

Jeff Teague doesn’t want Taylor Swift highlights during a football game

The singer’s romance with NFL star Travis Kelce is currently all the rage. It’s unbelievable how many Swifties suddenly took an interest in football just for this one reason. Swift was also present at some of the crucial games to support her boyfriend. At every one of Kelce’s plays, the camera panned to Swift, who was cheering for him.

That’s expected, right? Yes, but not everyone was pleased. Some fans felt that Swift shouldn’t have been in the spotlight during the games, arguing that it ruined the fun of the sport. Jeff Teague is one of those fans.

He believes that Swift was shown on screen way too often. “Bro, why they keep doing that? Every time he make a play, they got to show her. Like, at this point, I’m tired of her. I’m watching a football game, bro. I’m not going to a country concert,” Teague said previously on an episode of the Club 520 Podcast.

While this may have been an issue for some, it wasn’t entirely unexpected or unfamiliar. We might see the same thing happen again with another high-profile celebrity-athlete romance taking over the world. It seems Teague and others will just have to get used to it.
