Larsa Pippen attempted to be the star of the ‘Real Housewives of Miami’ reunion once again with decorative attire on the show. The 49-year-old wore a black gown which was theme-based along with a crown and a few added jewelry that caught the attention of many. When asked for the reason behind it, Larsa shared she wanted to feel like the “queen” of RHOM. While the unique outfit went viral, fans don’t think it looked great on her.

Designed by Laura Rudovic, the black gown had designs of roses attached to create a contrast and to match the fluffy look of the dress. However, in a recent Instagram poll created by a media page, fans have showcased that she overdid the costume. Only 39% of the users who voted felt the gown looked “hot” on Larsa, while the rest did not enjoy it much. Looks like all the efforts of Rudovic did not manage to make an impact. 

Nonetheless, the fashion designer still took the time to explain the theme behind the dress. She mentioned in the comments, “It was a Mexico / Dolce theme that they wanted and I tried my best to mix up the two themes!” While many did not find Larsa to be great in this attire, Rudovic loved the fit. She added, “Thank you so much for posting!…Larsa is beautiful and the crown is perfect for the queen of the housewives.”

While the dress had a difference in opinion, the fans did not like the crown on her head at all. Larsa said on the show, “I just kind of felt like I needed to rise above it all and be very queen-like.” But the fans have something else on their mind. 

“Too much”: Fans believe Larsa Pippen overdid the costume with the jewelry

The 49-year-old’s attempt to be extra might be the reason why the costume did not take off, especially the crown as a couple of fans commented, “The crown is too much,” and “The crown could have been left out tho.“ Some fans felt she dressed up for Halloween.

One fan wrote, “looks like a Halloween costume,” while another went a step further, commenting, “It’s giving Snow White’s evil stepmother”, etc. You can see the disappointment and none of them held back from criticizing. Another fan felt the dress was more appropriate for an event that is months away. “It’s to early for Dia de los muertos.” However, there were a few who found Larsa’s dress great.

“The sh*t is hit ion care how many times she spin in it!!” wrote 1 fan. Another user commented, “She actually looks great here. The crown could have been left out tho.” Apart from the crown, she also wore long earcuffs and a few rings. One of them was a gift from her boyfriend Marcus Jordan, which he gifted as a promise ring to Larsa.
