That’s why it’s understandable when Wade began to host the spades card tournament during the NBA All-Star Weekend. While playing the game, he is as passionate as he used to be on the court and gets competitive when he’s losing. However, things do get a bit different when it comes to playing with his wife.

The idea of this tournament came to Dwyane Wade while he was casually playing Spades after a business meeting in Turks and Caicos. And soon in association with apparel brand Stance, D-Wade began this tournament in 2012-2013, which has since seen a pool of basketball stars such as Carmelo Anthony, Jayson Tatum, Lauri Markkanen, Jaden Ivey, Donovan Mitchell, Julius Randle, Jaren Jackson Jr., Buddy Hield, Reggie Miller Pascal Siakam, and more join him.
