The Golden State Warriors were once the NBA’s dominant power team, winning six titles and taking part in the NBA Finals five years in a row. Last season, however, has been a far cry from those glory days, as the club has battled to find its footing and has been one of the league’s most disappointing teams.
Draymond Green, the Warriors’ power forward, remarked that their team chemistry was terrible last year. They’ve got off to a good start this year and are hoping for a successful season.
This 7X NBA Champion notes on his podcast that Green was dissatisfied with his team’s performance last season, and the point-forward’s statements might be another dig at Jordan Poole.

Rob suspects these statements are merely another shot at Jordan Poole.
According to Robert Horry, the 7x NBA Champ, Green had a horsesh*t year because of the Warrior’s performance and a dispute with Jordan Poole.

From the punch that began it all, to the pettiness that threatened to derail a dynasty, it was all there. Draymond Green’s fist collided with Jordan Poole’s jaw at training camp in October, thus ending the Golden State Warriors’ quest for a repeat. With two strong personality elements—Green’s fury and Poole’s audacity—it was a metaphor for how their strengths might also plant the seeds of their self-destruction.
After Draymond Green hit Jordan Poole in the face, a schism had formed within the Warriors squad. Nobody knew how awful it was, but it was evident that something was wrong.
Looking back on Jordan Poole and Draymond Green’s relationship, it was a terrible one. The Warriors went from being a championship team with Jordan Poole to a club that couldn’t win on the road. This might be the root cause of Draymond Green and the Warriors’ disastrous season last year.
