Basketball runs in Scottie Pippen‘s family! The Chicago Bulls icon has produced a few young ballers who are slowly making the family name famous once again. Following Scotty Pippen Jr.’s entry into the NBA, his brothers are in a race to make it too and the youngest one might be the 2nd son to make his dad proud. Justin Pippen, an 18-year-old athlete who stars for the Sierra Canyon, took a click with his siblings Scotty, Preston, and Sophia, which has gone viral. Although their mother Larsa was missing, she showered nothing but love on her kids after this special reunion.

Preston Pippen, who used to play for Sierra Canyon, returned to the court to watch his younger brother ball for his former school. The viral family picture had the caption, “the team”, which got Larsa’s attention. Although she couldn’t make it live to watch her son’s playoff game, she made sure to show her kids some love. Sharing Preston’s post to her Instagram story, Larsa added, “My loves”, tagging all four kids.

Larsa has made several courtside appearances in the NBA to support Scotty Pippen Jr. She was even there for his return to the league when he played for the Memphis Grizzlies at Miami. Sadly, she couldn’t make it to Justin’s important game. In case you’re wondering, no, the game did not turn out well for Justin and Co.

The Sierra Canyon had to face the toughest defeat of the season. Importantly, it put an end to their successful run this year, and that too it was a last-second buzzer beater!

As Larsa Pippen missed it, Justin’s 18-pointer was in vain after a wild buzzer-beater

Bryce James, LeBron James‘s youngest son, also represents Sierra Canyon basketball alongside Justin. Several pictures of the two balling together on the court have surfaced on the internet. The high school team had an amazing run this year, but all of it came to an end after St. Joseph’s Tounde Yessoufou hit a 15-foot shot with no time left to send Justin and Bryce home. Sierra Canyon had a 68-67 lead with two seconds left, but Yessoufou did not give up.

Sierra Canyon shared their disappointment on their Instagram, “Although we fell short of that goal, we still managed to have an outstanding year filled with many great moments and exceeded expectations. Every season comes with new challenges and different expectations, but this team answered the call of choosing to define themselves in ways many didn’t think was possible.”

Despite overcoming an 8-point trail early in the game, Sierra Canyon could not hold on. This will be the first time they won’t appear in a regional semifinal since 2017!
