Former LeBron James Teammate Embarrassed on Live TV, Jamal Crawford Calls Out Co-Host With 14 Words

This Olympic gold medalist, two-time NBA All-Star, ACC Network basketball analyst, and former teammate of LeBron James had a distinguished NBA career. However, at the Game Time podium, the gold medalist appeared to be joking around with Chris Miles and Jamal Crawford when he unwittingly showed off the rust he’s picked up in retirement.
Crawford, one of the best ball handlers in NBA history, reminisced about the humorous incident on social media, calling out the co-host, Chris Miles, and adding a 14-word snarky caption.

Carlos Boozer was one of LeBron James’ first teammates in the NBA. Though he never got to win a ring alongisde the King, Boozer retired a happy man in 2017. Now, an ESPN analyst, he frequently finds time for fun hijinks with three-time Sixth Man of the Year, Jamal Crawford. Recently, they continued this trajectory in their studio.
Boozer encouraged Crawford to get active on the game time show and gave him the basketball. But it turned out, co-host Chris Miles wanted to assist Boozer. Chris, Jamal, and Boozer—all three of them began passing the ball to each other like it was the old days. Chris took the ball from Boozer and passed it to Boozer, who passed it to Jamal and asked Jamal to shoot, referring to him as the “New Yorker”.

After a few flashy passes between the trio, Carlos Boozer received the ball under the rim for what should’ve been an easy lay-up. Unfortunately, the 13-season veteran missed.

Jamal Crawford recalled the scenes in a 14-word sarcastic caption on his Instagram story: “@chrismilestv tried to set Booz up to take the shot with the suit on, lol.” with a laughing emoji.
As Crawford mentioned, Boozer could use the excuse of his well-fitted suit if anybody questions his under-basket miss.

Chris Miles expressed a desire to assist Boozer, saying, “I wanted my assist,” but Boozer only touched the rim. Then Jamal scored with a great spin on the ball, captioning it, “had to put the spin on it tho lol.”
Carlos Boozer’s son Cameron is currently one of the best young prospects in the country. It would be intriguing to see the teenage phenom respond to his father’s missed layup. At least we know how Chris Miles and Jamal Crawford feel about it!
