An amazing coincidence for 50 Cent and Spurs legend

The In Da Club rapper made his major label debut in 2003 in the most spectacular way possible. Only a few days ago, his iconic song was certified diamond by the RIAA. He recently performed the song on the Paris stop for his tour, in front of over 34,000 people. Among the crowd, there was another person who held the year 2003 very close to his heart. The 4x NBA champion Tony Parker was in attendance at the show. Parker received his first NBA ring back in 2003 and through 50 Cent’s show, he reminisced about the good old days.

After the show, Parker posted on his Instagram story, a clip from 50 Cent’s show. The San Antonio Spurs legend wrote, “20 years already thanks for all the memories 2003 my first NBA ring.” Parker represented the Spurs from 2001 to 2018, won four rings, and made six All-Star appearances. He was also named the Finals MVP in their 2007 championship run. The 41-year-old seemed surprised by the fact that time has gone by so quickly, that it has been two decades since he lifted the NBA trophy for the first time.
