The star power was undeniable at the Riff Raff premiere. Stars like Ed Harris, Jennifer Coolidge, Emanuela Postacchini, Pete Davidson, and many more are part of the cast. For sure, it’s a talented one. Among them is Gabrielle Union, who plays an important role in the film with this talented lineup. Although the movie’s screenwriter praised the actress, she still admitted feeling overshadowed by the star-studded crew.

However, Union’s feelings differ from the perspective of fans and filmmakers. As per the movie’s screenwriter, John Pollono, Union was one of the most brilliant actresses, bringing a unique and individual perspective to her role.

“It’s always an honor, this business is founded by writers and creatives and to be able to do their work justice is an honor.” Union told ET’s Denny Directo at the Toronto International Film Festival. When he asked about the case, she added, “Like, I was like, I am the weakest link. And I got to step it up.”

Directo recounted that Pollono described how Union brought a regal quality to her character. The ‘Bring It On’ star boasts an impressive resume, having appeared in some of the best films, including Daddy’s Little Girls, Deliver Us from Eva, Think Like a Man, and many more hits.

At TIFF, the actress wasn’t alone. She and her husband, ever the lovebirds, made a stylish appearance together.

Just a few days ago, the two celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. Proud of his wife, Wade shared clips of his wife posing for photographs on Instagram. In another story, he wrote “Amazing cast,” to praise Union and the entire film’s lineup. ‘Riff Raff ‘ is a comedy crime thriller directed by Dito Montiel, delivering an exhilarating punch of suspense and humor. Ed Harris plays Vince, an ex-mobster who has settled down with Sandy, portrayed by Union.
