Rumors regarding the decline of the CNN network have been doing the rounds around the sports media industry, however, CNN has set November 29 as the premiere date for King Charles, the primetime limited series hosted by Gayle King and Charles Barkley. The show will air every Wednesday at 10 pm. However, the show faced a scheduling conflict because of the ‘GOP’ debate. This resulted in the CNN show getting aired an hour earlier in the second week. These schedule conflicts are unavoidable, however, another serious hurdle that this CNN show is facing is the relationship between Charles Barkley and Gayle King.

Gayle King, who is a prominent American TV personality, has publicly voiced her apprehensions about Charles Barkley. Her doubts had reportedly stemmed from the NBA legend’s tendency to dive into anecdotes. She has made it very clear that she was firmly against the idea of Barkley continuing his earlier methods. With all of this chaos going on before the premiere of Charles Barkley’s CNN show, one cannot help but wonder if this will be a truly successful business endeavor for Barkley.
