The Ja Rule and 50 cent beef is a topic of conversation even after two decades of its origin. While some may consider a feud lasting this long to be petty, 3x All-Star Gilbert Arenas believes otherwise. The former Washington Wizards guard has found something comforting in the longstanding rivalry between the hip-hop legends. Appearing on an episode of ‘Nightcap’ with Shannon Sharpe, Arenas was relieved that he was not the only one that was keeping receipts.

“It just really assures me that I am not the only one who is immature about the beefs I have,” he stated. However, Shannon Sharpe disagreed with Arenas, saying he is not petty like Gil. The conversation stemmed from a recent development in Ja Rule and 50 cent’s decades-old beef.

It all started off in 1999 with Ja Rule alleging of being robbed of his chain by an associate of 50 Cent. The incident followed by Fiddy’s diss track has not been lived down since then. From diss tracks to Fiddy’s alleged stabbing by then Murder Inc. rapper Black Child, the feud has witnessed it all. In some instances, fans believed that peace has finally been negotiated, but recent developments seem to have rejected any such notions.

Ja Rule’s upcoming UK tour fell off, after which the rapper offered a refund to ticket holders. Ja shared the news on his X account stating, “I’m so devastated I can’t believe the UK won’t let me in…” In another post, Ja stated, “UK is one of the few European countries that restricts entry to people with criminal records…”

The fans were rather quick to allege that 50 Cent had something to do with this somehow. In response, Fiddy called Ja a “b*ch” meanwhile reminding everyone how he never faced an issue while touring in the UK. Even Ja responded to 50 Cent by replying, @50cent Ni*ga you pu*sy shut up…”

Fans’ reaction to Ja Rule’s comeback on Fiddy

Given the longstanding nature of the beef and the many ups and downs it has witnessed, some fans were not too impressed with the latest statements. Though they did deal with it in a humorous fashion.

Another fan took a dig on the recent developments by mentioning his growing age along with the timeline of the rappers’ rivalry.

However, there is always one who believes that the best way to decide the outcome is by throwing hands at each other.
