In an interview for ‘Complex’, Dwyane Wade talks about how much the 10-year relationship with the international brand means to him. He says, ?It means a lot. I?ve been in the sneaker game for awhile. I was thinking about it on the way over here. I have five signature shoes with Converse, three with Jordan, and I got 10 with Li-Ning.?.
The former Miami Heat star walked away from his shoe deals with ?Jordan? and ?Converse? to build with ?Li-Ning?. In 2018, Li-Ning entered into a new contract with Dwyane Wade in what which was described then as a ?lifetime deal?. He has reportedly been given equity by ?Li-Ning? as well. If the company along with his ?Way of Wade? shoe-line does well, he could eventually become one of the richest sports athletes of all time.
After recently helping his son gain a multi-million dollar shoe contract with ?Li-Ning?, the 3x NBA champion is fully committed to helping ?Li-Ning? grow as a global brand.
