When it comes to NBA icon Michael Jordan, fans have to mostly rely on his children for updates about his family. However, this time, it was his ex-wife, Juanita Vanoy, who celebrated a family member’s commemorative milestone.

Since none of MJ and Juanita’s children were present in person, it was Vanoy who hopped on Instagram to give fans a glimpse of the celebrations. Juanita was MJ’s better half for over 17 years and the couple share three children together.

A few hours ago, Juanita Vanoy took to Instagram to share a post with her limited but loyal followers. It highlighted a picture of Juanita’s father and Michael Jordan’s ex-father-in-law, John Vanoy, sitting in the front and beaming widely toward the camera. His wife sat beside him. Juanita Vanoy, on the other hand, joined three others in holding up a ‘98’ shaped balloon.

The photo was taken during a celebratory moment as the Vanoy family marked their eldest member’s 98 birthday. Through a series of Instagram stories shared by Jordan’s ex, people could get a glimpse of the effort taken in making the day special for John Vanoy. “Happy 98th birthday,” she wrote.

This has also led the 64-year-old to form an opinion that’s completely different from her ex-husband’s.

32-year-old Marcus has been publicly involved in a relationship with 49-year-old Larsa Pippen. The couple has been the subject of conversation amongst many NBA enthusiasts, mostly due to the fact that Larsa is the ex-wife of Michael Jordan’s former teammate Scottie Pippen.

Since they went public with their relationship, people have wanted to know what Marcus’ parents think about the couple. While His Airness has stated his disapproval, Juanita has gone in the opposite direction. Barely a day ago, Larsa uploaded a new post on Instagram. Everyone expected Marcus to leave a heartfelt message. Not many, however, would have caught Juanita Vanoy also leaving her thoughts in the comments section.
