“Has To Stop”: Dwight Howard Makes Passionate Plea as Puerto Rico Situation Remains Unclear

Dwight Howard is being extremely cryptic amidst the many controversies revolving around him. The fans continue to question if he will play with the BSN or not. Some are also concerned about how the pending lawsuit will affect his gameplay. In the thick of all the headlining news on his career, the 8x NBA All-Star has come forward with his own request.

Recently, Howard took to his Twitter and urged the reporters and platforms to halt confusing his fans. He stated, I love Puerto Rico and the fans. I just wanted to clarify to the media because multiple platforms reported that I signed already before first confirming with me. The misleading news has to stop. Until then I’m still keeping the BSN at heart #boricua.”

However, this doesn’t seem to calm the fans. Most Puerto Rican fans wanted to see the amazing baller on their courts. As per the many reports, his presence in the BSN would have helped the league with viewership and may have elevated the overall level of the competition. In one of the images, Howard was even hanging out with former Dallas Mavericks guard, JJ Barea. The 2011 NBA champion is now a coach in the BSN, which could have hinted at DH12’s future moves.

However, for now, the 2020 NBA champion is asking everyone to stop the fake narratives. Eventually, we will learn where he will continue his basketball career.

After his third stint with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2022, Howard took a break from the NBA and signed a contract with the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan. He made some loud noise in the T1 league. His immaculate performances got him the All-Star and the All-Star Game Most Famous Player for the T1 league.

Howard also bagged several other titles, including the 2022-23 Most Valuable Import. Following his term with the T1 league, the 3x DPOY forked his choices between the Australian National Basketball League and the Philippines Basketball Association. However, he went with the Strong Group Athletics (SGA), a non-league Philippines-based team. Dwight Howard, along with another NBA veteran Andre Roberson, brought victory home against the host UAE with 82-66 on the board.

While there is no confirmation on whether Howard will bring the same excitement to the BSN or not, his tweet shows his open schedule for the league.
