Having First Met Charles Barkley 20 Years Ago, Mark Cuban Makes Surprise Cameo to Celebrate 76ers Legend’s Milestone

Ernie Johnson and Philadelphia 76ers legend Charles Barkley celebrated the 100th edition of their podcast, ‘The Steam Room‘, with a special program that included several unexpected guests. To have completed 100 episodes of the podcast is a tremendous milestone for Charles and Ernie. Many people congratulated them via video message, including billionaire Mark Cuban.

The owner of the Dallas Mavericks is an avid fan of Charles Barkley. The Round Mound of Rebound was also featured in a Shark Tank episode alongside Cuban. Barkley and Cuban two have a long relationship that dates back around 20 years.

Mark Cuban is a billionaire renowned for being vocal and opinionated. He is one of the major “sharks” on ABC’s reality show Shark Tank. He made a charming cameo to congratulate Ernie and Charles on the 100th episode of their podcast.

Cuban stated, “Chuck and Ernie, now we’re doing congratulation videos for 100 podcasts; What is that like? A participation trophy? Okay, I’ll go along. Congratulations, guys, on 100 episodes, and I’ll even send you a ribbon to go with it.”

Chuck and Ernie both burst out laughing after watching the cameo, and the 1993 NBA MVP admitted that he considers Mark to be a close friend.

The 65-year-old recounted in a recent interview with Bleacher Report about meeting the Chuckster for the first time 20 years ago, and the story is really interesting! They met during the 2003 All-Star Game in Atlanta and as Cuban described it, “It was a long a** night.”

As it appears, Cuban and Barkley had a terrific time. The duo were up till 6 or 7 in the morning, drinking and having the time of their lives. The two even joined hands during Barkley’s appearance on Shark Tank in 2018.

Sir Charles and Mark Cuban suggested a proposal to a Florida couple who owned SubSafe. It is a container for storing your delicious subs and is constructed of plastic and reportedly will protect your sandwiches from becoming soggy, especially if water hits them or you completely fail and put them in the water. “We will give you $100,000,” stated Chuckster. Cuban nodded and informed the finalists that he and Chuck demanded a 25% stake in the firm in exchange. The candidates unanimously agreed, and the four reached an agreement.
