Former NBA player Dennis Rodman had several issues that tied him down during his NBA career. Nevertheless, the player’s achievements in the league were incredible. He used to be a remarkable force on the basketball floor, particularly as a defender. Not so surprising that the player ruled the league in rebounds. Recently in a podcast, Rodman’s former teammate John Salley praised the player for his skills and shared their unfriendly welcome into the league.

Salley has always admired The Worm for his charming personality and exceptional talent. Cheering the fans with another intriguing detail about Dennis, the Bad Boy Pistons legend shared some heartwarming anecdotes. He even shared a few that were a bit brutal.

In a recent episode of “That’s F***ed Up Podcast”, the 4-time NBA champion shared more details about his relationship with Dennis the Menace. He stated that both of them were roommates during their game in Hawaii. 

Revealing his friendship with Rodman, he stated, “Dennis is on my team Dennis grabbing every rebound and he says, when I get the rebound we’ll give it to you. I was like good move, you do that we’re roommates. I love Dennis Rodman this is my brother.” 

Rebounding is one of the tough aspects of the game.

Praising his former teammate, Salley mentioned how every time Rodman would get an offensive rebound, he gave it to him during that particular game. The 5-time NBA champion’s ally, Salley keeps treating the fans with intriguing stories of the player. Once he shared a story about their rookie days.

In a podcast, Salley spoke about his rookie days alongside Rodman. The former Detroit Pistons players were drafted in the same year. He stated how he and Rodman were assigned to clean the dirty locker room before their dinner. During their task, they heard some girls talking in the lobby.

Salley expressed his disappointment at how he could not come out into the lobby. Moreover, he stated, “I have never been more upset in my life. I’m hungry. I have a busted lip from Sid Green. Rick Mahorn hit my leg. Nobody’s talking to me. It’s day 4; I hate these guys; and these broads are eating my food.”
