In a recent podcast episode of ?Gil?s Arena?, the 41-year-old Wizards legend, Gilbert Arenas, encourages Wembanyama to adopt a similar playing style to that of Allen Iverson after one of the co-hosts mentions that Victor Wembanyama should stick to playing on the post like Tim Duncan.

?Gilbert Arenas states, ?We already know it’s going to be a fail if he?s (Wembanyama) never been a post player. Tim Duncan was a post player, that was his bread and butter.? The 19-year-old Victor Wembanyama is a French basketball player, who got drafted as the 1st pick of the 2023 NBA draft. A lot of hype surrounded his entry into the league, similar to what Zion Williamson and LeBron James got when they first entered the league.

Despite many critics questioning his fitness, the 7’4” athlete silenced everyone with his performances in the NBA games. He is a major double threat as he can do both offense and defense.
