Carmelo separated from his ex-wife La La in 2021. The end of their 11 years of marriage was rumored to be due to the cheating allegations that were cast on Anthony, and the couple finally called it quits in 2021. Now, the 39-year-old Anthony is making some waves in the dating world. A 43-year-old rapper recently admitted that Anthony had shot his shot at her a while ago.

Recently, rapper Hazel-E was in conversation with The Shade Room. When asked about the most famous person to have hit on her, Hazel revealed that Anthony tried to shoot his shot at her. The host was rather surprised by the answer, as La La happens to be a good friend to both Carmelo and La La.

When asked about whether this was before or after his divorce from the actress, Hazel said that it was after they had ended their marriage. It seems as though Anthony’s feelings weren’t reciprocated by the rapper, as there was no news of them being together in the last two years.

The Anthony family has long maintained a good relationship with Kobe Bryant‘s family. La La is often seen hanging out with Vanessa. Recently, Vanessa launched a new sweatsuit range for her Mamba & Mambacita foundation, and Anthony’s son Kiyan was made the face of their campaign.

The proud mother expressed her happiness with her 16-year-old boy contributing to continuing Kobe and Gigi’s legacy. Additionally, La La thanked Vanessa for being so thoughtful with the project and including Kiyan as the face of their brand.
